블랙모어 나이츠의 음악을 들을때마다 미소를 짓게 됩니다.아시다시피 기타리스트 리치 블랙모어와 보컬 캔디스 나잇의 이름이 밴드 명칭 이지요.처음 이들이 결성 되었을때 많은 락마니아 들에겐 충격 이었겠습니다.디퍼플, 레인보우의 상징 이었던  전설적 기타리스트 리치 블랙모어가어느날 우수광 스러운 중세복장의 캘틱그룹으로 타락(?) 하다니~저 양반이 노망이 난게구나, 왜 ?그때만 해도 알수 없었던 그 이유는 2008년이 돼서야 알게 됩니다.보컬 이었던 캔디스 나잇과 결혼~!하아~정말 우리네 말로 하면 도둑넘(?)이죠?둘의 나이차가 부녀 뻘인 26살 차이 이니 말입니다.확실히 사랑은 위대하다고 말할수 밖에 없지요.그 하나로 자신의 명성을 스스로 추락시킨 블랙모어 이니 말입니다.블랙모어는 어느날 축구 경기장에서 나잇을 처음 만났을때 무슨 생각을 했을까요?모르긴 몰라도 그때부터 운명을 느꼈을것 같습니다.그렇기에 레인보우 시절 팀원들의 반대에도 나잇을 빽보컬로 들여 앉혔겠고,그랬기에 자신의 화려한 경력을 송두리채 내던지는, 순전히 연인,나잇 만을 위한 캘틱그룹에 몸을 담근것이 말입니다.그리곤 20 년의 사랑을 결국은 결혼으로 증명 한게고요.
블랙모어 나이츠의 곡을 들어보면 참으로 환타직한 느낌을 받습니다.나잇의 청아한 목소리를 더더욱 신비롭고 환상적으로 만들어 주는 블랙모어의 기타연주~빽빼한 톱니바퀴가 빈틈없이 돌아가는듯한 그 조화로움 에서아내인 나잇을 위한 열정페이, 그 무한의 사랑을 전달 받습니다.바로 이것이 제가 이들의 음악을 들을때의 포인트 이겠습니다.
